Wrangler Pickup Truck Project
We started one of the most spectacular Wrangler projects ever here at COP4X4. We are converting a 4-door Wrangler Unlimited into a 2-seat pickup truck. We have lengthened the rear frame rail 12 inches, replaced the entire floor area of the Jeep with a 16 gauge steel custom made bed, including inner and outer fenders. The truck bed is a full 5 feet 10 inches, enough room for most ATV's, 2 sport motorcycles, or anything else that you would use a truck for, all with the capabilities of a COP4X4 Jeep.
The idea is to not limit your off road experience, but to be able to carry other off road toys with you and your friend. The jeep will have between 8 and 10 inches of lift, 17 inch bead locks wrapped in huge 42 inch Good Year off road tires, 2 1/2 inch King front coils and 2 1/2 inch front king shocks, 2 1/2 inch rear King shocks, Dana 60 rear end with either a built 44 or a 60 front. Teraflex welded 6 inch lift with 8 inch springs, total adjusted lift between 8 and 10 inches. Road armor front bumper and a custom COP4x4 wrap around Mopar rear bumper. We will have a cop4x4 hemi hood, carboned and ripped, complete with Vision x light in the hood and a 50 inch light bar across the top of the windshield.
The Xenon flat fenders will be either carbon fiber with my trademark ripped paint or covered in leather, as will be all four of the Jerry cans. The entire dash and interior of the rig will be saddle and chocolate leather, with full Mercedes carpet. We have raked the windshield back 10 degrees for a sportier look. We have built a custom cage and pre runner tire carrier for this rig as well, and all bars will be padded and covered in leather. We have added the new Mopar 1/2 doors, and the inside panels will be leather as well.
This rig will be pearl metallic/white. The bed will either be a custom wood show bed, or a rhino lined usable bed. COP 4X4 rock sliders and rock skins will adorn both sides of the rig. A custom Cargo Nack tailgate and tano cover will adorne the bed. An Ipad and mobile hot spot as well as an amplifier and all new speakers/sub woofer will provide entertainment for the cab. Our motor choices are as follows, 5.7 VVT 400hp, 6.4 VVT 500 hp, 426 620 hp, 440 650 hp, 472 aluminum block Hemi producing well over 800 hp at the rear wheels, and we can super charge or inject nitrous into any of the mentioned configurations. We have several businesses interested in displaying our rig at this years SEMA convention, and we should be on Power Block TV for the third time as well.
